"I just wanted to say, thank you so much for providing me with the Bridgetown Scholarship this past year! I am so grateful. I can't believe I started in-person classes a year ago! I feel like I have grown so much as a performer since then, and not just "knowing who I am" as an actor and such, but I feel so street smart and I've learned so much about the business too! And, this term was so much fun and I feel so much more confident about myself in this career. Thank you so much again for the scholarship. I can't wait to start College Prep next year!"

"Bridgetown and its exemplary team of professionals are unmatched when it comes to training.
Too many youth conservatory programs focus on putting on performances vs. teaching techniques that will benefit students their entire career.
Bridgetown focuses on the key components of auditions, song choice, dance, etc. that will truly help your child stand out and find success.
Cannot recommend more!"

"Thank you so very much for all the meaningful things you taught my granddaughter
Gyllian during her high school years.
But most importantly you and the staff of Bridgetown shared
a positive example of working in the arts.
I am sure you are primed for another creative year.
I’m excited for Gyllian’s new adventures in New York.
Your program was just what Gyllian needed."

"I think back to the first time I “sat in” at one of Callie’s vocal lessons with you at your studio
in the “Cement” building.
I never felt more sure that she could ever have a more engaged mentor than what I witnessed that afternoon.
Thank you for everything that you have done for Callie these many years.
I know she had an incredible connection with you. "

"Without you Callie would not be where she is today in her development of her dream/passion…"

"Lana is excited for the next term starting in April. This is really among the few times Lana has said she feels like she is gaining skills and tools from her training."

"I have gone from not getting called back, to being booked pretty solidly for the year. A number of my musical theatre friends, along with my daughter, are now working with Rick. I recommend Rick to any serious performer who isn't afraid to be pushed to their capacity and is truly looking to work as a performer."

"I have been working with Rick for over 2 years now. Since starting work with him the amount of growth I have is astounding, not only does he teach me so much, but it's extremely fun working with him. If I have a bad day and go learn with him, it's instantly better. I am so lucky to be able to work with Rick Lewis, and I would recommend him to anyone.”

"My daughter is passionate about singing and musical theatre, two and a half years ago she started working with Rick, at the age of 12, and at that time she had really no voice training at all. In those two years I have seen an incredible growth in her. She started with Rick being able to sing alto and not being able to hit the high notes with any power but through his guidance she has learned to find her mix and is now a Soprano 1. He has such incredible insight as to what his students are able to achieve and helps to work to achieve their goals. His knowledge of musical theatre and music in general knows no bounds and as a result has helped my daughter find new and interesting pieces to work on. Currently he is working to get her musical book to a place that will help her reach her dreams and pursue a career in theatre. I cannot thank him enough for guiding her with such grace and joy.”

"I have been singing, dancing and acting since I was 9 years old. I had one vocal teacher before Rick who taught me the basics of singing. While I will always appreciate that, Rick's coaching has shown me that my Broadway dream is possible. He has worked with me on many things including breathing, interpretation and phrasing. These skills have helped me learn to tell a story through song not just sing the notes. I am and will remain eternally grateful for Rick's coaching."

"I have been working with Rick Lewis for exactly two years now. I am not one to throw out compliments easily, much less admit my mistakes. However, throughout my time working with Rick, there is no doubt that I improved every single session I had with him, and despite my unwillingness to stop judging myself too harshly and get out of my own way, I was given the courage and skill set to break more barriers within my abilities than I even knew existed, all the while embracing my struggles as learning opportunities and allowing myself to become the performer that I am today. I have found that his judgement and infinite knowledge on the industry are the foundation of not only my vocal and storytelling abilities, but also my overall mindset and passion to perform. In fact, each week I meet with Rick, I find myself more inspired and motivated to pursue this goal of mine to become a professional actress than the last. It was apparent to me the second I walked through the door of his studio that he was going to do everything in his power to make me the most compelling, driven, authentic me that I could be, both as an actress and a human being. There is not one second when we’re collaborating that I do not feel completely in awe of his musical genius and his complete and utter love for his profession, and this feeling is something that I would hope that everyone with my same ambitions could replicate at some point in their lives.
When I first met Rick, I didn’t quite know whether or not to believe all of the glowing recommendations that were thrown my way. However, when we first sat down and we began to talk, I specifically remember wondering how he was able to be so direct yet so gentle and warm at the same time. I then realized how incredibly accurate the testimonials were once we got to talking, because almost immediately he was able to create a basis of information and overall technique that would become the cornerstone of my musical capabilities as of today, which is especially impressive seeing if one were to understand how vocally limited I was at the time. I lacked almost all vocal proficiencies back then; all that I really had was a dedication and overwhelming love for theater. Working with Rick, I have been able to channel my ever growing affection for the art of drama through diligent vocal training and constant renewal of understandings regarding the industry. His expertise has been imperative to my development as an actress, and I hope that everyone who will have the privilege of knowing him will be able to acknowledge and appreciate his talents as both a teacher and a performer to the extent that I have and will continue to do for the rest of my life."
